The new R8 ECU is a fully programmable Engine Control System with 8 Injector drivers and 8 Coil outputs designed for Drag Race applications.
The ECU is wireless and uses Bluetooth technology for all laptop or tablet communications. (USB is also available)
Unique to the R8 ECU is the 6 Stage Nitrous Control with programmable Fuel, Spark and Nitrous for each stage. A Water injection control output is also included.
The R8 ECU also features a host of integrated chassis control functions:-
The R8 ECU has 4 dedicated outputs for transmission control and can fully replicate the ACD box functions. Shifts can be set by rpm and/or time. Converter lockup outputs are also included.
The R8 ECU has a unique "Auto Purge" function that when activated autonomously controls up to 2 Nitrous bottle pressures to the programmed value.
The R8 ECU also has an automatic chute release function that deploys the chute at the programmed time after launch. A safety over-ride input is also available.
The R8 ECU has a 3D traction control table that can be programmed to control tire slip or driveshaft acceleration by using the spark timing to adjust engine power.
The R8 ECU comes as standard with internal data logging, Racepak dash interface and dual lamba control inputs. Enhanced security features now allow any individual part of an engine map to be password protected and/or hidden.
The R8 ECU is programmed using our latest advanced Power to Win 9.0 software platform designed for Win 8/10 64 bit PC operating systems.
