| Logging
Data
Once
all the settings have been set for each channel, the configuration
file is sent to the logger unit and it is ready to run. Logging
starts automatically as soon as predetermined speed or engine rpm
thresholds have been exceeded and stops when these parameters drop
below their respective thresholds again. In the event of a race,
logging will stop when the logging memory is full or, if the user
has selected the cyclic logging feature, the unit will overwrite
the oldest data with new to maintain the most recent information.
Downloading
Data
After
logging is complete, the data downloads extremely fast at a rate
of 12MBit/second. A 4MB data file takes less than 10 seconds to
download! This enables the user to view the data quickly and make
the necessary engine or chassis adjustments to improve performance.
